Bangor Missionary Convention
This week, the seaside town of Bangor in Northern Ireland is host to a major event in the life of the churches here. It’s often simply called the Bangor Missionary Convention, and has been running since 1937 without a break.
Its official title is the World Wide Missionary Convention, and its secretary for the last 3 years is Lesley Stewart. Lesley spoke to Colm Flanagan, Premier’s regional producer for Northern Ireland, about what her job entails.
