Charities Commission comes to Northern Ireland
There’s been a Charities Commission in England and Scotland for many years, but not in Northern Ireland, but this is about to change.
Many Christian societies have been required to apply for charitable status – which among other things, allows them to qualify for Gift Aid.
Mission Africa is one such society here in Northern Ireland, and Premier's Colm Flanagan spoke to its director, Paul Bailie, about how the society operates.
