What is the connection between a founding father of the United States Independence and a Bible translator?
Well, it’s in the person of a man called Charles Thompson, who came from Northern Ireland to what were then the American colonies of Britain in the mid-18th century.
Bruce Clark lives today in the farmhouse where Charles Thompson was brought up, near Maghera in mid Ulster.
