A word beneath which excuses can hide.

Father Richard Nesbitt, is a parish priest in one of the biggest social housing estates in London and during Holy Week last year wrote a series of poems giving voice to those who experienced Holy Week with Jesus many years ago.

Today is the Roman Catholic Feast of the Chair of St Peter, which celebrates the authority that was given to Peter, by Jesus himself as Roman Catholics across the world celebrate this and remember how we are called to be one family in Christ.

Fr Richard's book - Holy Week voices from the Holy Land, hears from Christian voices today in the Holy Land, giving their own reflections in this time of crisis and how their Christian faith gives them hope and encouragement.

Father Richard, kindly shared this poem with Premier Christian Radio about Peter's experience, entitled Peter's Word.
