Becoming a champion for God.

As a child growing up in the UK, Titilayo Majekodunmi found there were limited choices of books which reflected how she looked.

Many years later Titi found statistics showed that less than 1% of children’s books in the UK featured a black lead character so with this in mind, Durotimi The Champion was written.

Durotimi the champion is a children’s picture book about a young boy who is encouraged to be whatever he chooses to be when he grows up.

Published during lockdown, Titi spoke with Premier's Rachel Matthews and began by sharing a little about her family.
