Hear the Sound with Sarah Téibo
It maybe surprising to know that 1 in 14 babies are born prematurely and Sarah spoke to Premier's Rachel Matthews about her single Hear the Sound, and why she wanted to donate 50% of the proceeds to create care packages for the families this Christmas.
Sarah Téibo has been pushing the boundaries since her entry into the UK Gospel scene late 2015 with her debut single ‘Steal my Joy’ followed by her debut album ‘Walk with Me’ which earned her a MOBO nomination and multiple awards including the prestigious Premier Gospel Awards’ ‘Album of the Year’.
Sarah is also a mum, to two daughters who having experienced the juggling joys of lockdown forged a relationship with the charity Colourful Beginnings to raise money to support families who have a baby prematurely.
Sarah began by telling Rachel how she came to write the song earlier this year.
Hear the Sound can be pre-ordered or downloaded on iTunes and Amazon, 50% of the proceeds of the single, will go to the Charity Colourful Beginnings
Colourful Beginnings – Love, Hope & Support for NICU families supporting families of premature babies in Neonatal Intensive Care Units this Christmas.
