John Strawbridge

In October 1771, Bishop Francis Asbury set sale for America after answering a call for preachers from the Founder of Methodism John Wesley. Spending 45 years on the road he dedicated his life to spreading the Methodist message throughout America.

Fast forward 200 years and hundreds of visitors from the UK and the US flocked to the Midlands last weekend to visit his birthplace and find out where it all began.
