Dinner & Dessert Menu
Sunday 27th December
Turkey & orange stir fry (For 2)

- 400g roast turkey - Leftover
- 1 red pepper - 20p
- 1 orange - leftovers
- 3 spring onions -10p
- 250g chestnut mushrooms - £1
- Dry garlic
- Chili flakes
- Black & green olives - leftovers
- Pull the meat off the bone, set aside and discard the bone.
- Rinse and roughly chop: pepper, spring onion, mushroom and garlic. Only keep the mushroom separated from the rest.
- Cut 4 big orange peels and also some slices of the fruit. Remove the peeps and add to the vegetables. Also rinse a handful of green and black olives, then add to the vegetables.
- In a large pan, heat the butter and add the orange peels to bring out the flavours (2 minutes).
- Add the thyme and Turkey then dry fry for 4 while continuously stirring.
- Now add the mushroom which will produce liquid to that, add chilli, salt, pepper, garlic, stir, then leave to simmer for 2 minutes uncovered, stir again leave for 2 minutes and allow the liquid to dry out.
- Now add spring onion, peppers, orange, olive stir adjust seasoning, then toss fry until the peppers soften.
Done. Serve with anything you want: bread, chips, potato duchess or potato dauphine. Enjoy
Almond and Christmas pudding ice cream
Leftover - Christmas Pudding

- 100 cognac Christmas pudding – Leftover
- 100g Brown sugar
- 300ml whole milk
- 100 ground almond - 70p
- Almond flakes for topping
- Leave the Christmas pudding at room temperature so it won’t be hard to mash.
- Add the sugar to the milk and stir until there are granules left.
- Pour the sugar/milk mix in the blender with the mashed Christmas pudding and blend until smooth.
- Now add the ground almonds and blend again…the smoother the better.
- Once you are satisfied with the smoothness of the ice-cream mix, pour it in a bowl with a lid and place it in the freezer for 3 hours.
- Bring the bowl out of the freeze 10 minute before scooping.
