Christian charity backs NHS calls to check in on elderly neighbours

NHS England wants 100,000 people to sign a pledge saying they'll look in on an elderly friend or neighbour over winter months.

An army of good samaritans is being asked to care for the nation's elderly this winter. NHS England wants 100 thousand people to sign a pledge saying they'll look in on an elderly friend or neighbour over the next few months. Robin Rolls is the National Director of the Outlook Trust - a ministry to the elderly.

He told Premier's Marcus Jones on the News Hour why he's giving his support to the project.
