Christian charity criticises motorway pub

The first bar to open on a motorway service station has started begun selling booze.

JD Wetherspoon is defending opening the first pub on the motorway network in England.

The Hope And Champion at Beaconsfield services on the M40 in Buckinghamshire opens from 9am to 1am.

The RAC says a survey shows just 12 per cent of people support putting pubs into service stations.

John Beasley is drugs and alcohol educator for Christian charity Hope UK - he told Premier's Des Busteed on the  News Hour why he thinks pubs should be banned from motorways:
