The McCann family are being given support from local churches after British police were given permission to excavate land close to where Madeline went missing.

Kate and Gerry have been informed of plans to dig up areas in Praia da Luz following their daughters disappearance 7 years ago. 

Rev Rob Gladstone is the vicar where the McCann family live and told Premier a service was held for the family at the weekend.
