Salvation Army encourages more to take up sport

As The Salvation Army celebrates its 149th birthday today - it is encouraging more of us to take up a sport.

With the Wimbledon final this weekend, the start of the Tour de France and the British Grand Prix - the Christian charity believes it's never been a better time to don a pair of football boots.  To mark the milestone it's also revealed a football project which has helped those affected by addiction and homelessness.
