Police in Italy using sniffer dogs to search for Pope John Paul II relic

The small framed square of cloth was taken from the church in the mountainous Abruzzo region where he used to ski.

More than 50 Police in Italy are using sniffer dogs to search for a small piece of cloth stained with the blood of Pope John Paul II.

The relic was stolen from a church a central region of the country after thieves broke through metal bars and windows.

On Premier's News Hour Caroline Farrow of Catholic Voices explained the importance of it:
