A Premier presenter for around a decade, Michael is also a Baptist Minister, who has served his present church since 1985. Married to Diane, and with two grown-up children, including Premier producer and presenter, Steve, Michael is also Grandad to two delightful little Welsh grand-daughters.
His recreational pursuits include photography, family genealogy, bird-watching and holidays in the sun, although taking to the water may well become a new passion after he and Diane had a recent delightful experience on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean.
Born and brought up in Brighton, Michael’s first experience of broadcasting was when the BBC set up one of its first local stations in the South Coast resort. Although then a youngster, Michael successfully auditioned to become a part of a volunteer team that produced a weekly programme for young people. Since then, and following a professional broadcasting course in London, he has worked for Radio Mercury, Invicta FM, Classic FM, BBC Radio Kent and KMFM, before moving to Premier Christian Radio in 2004.
