Major General Roddy Porter on Remembrance
Major General Roddy Porter served for 31 years in the British Army. He was commissioned into The Royal Welsh Fusiliers in 1980, with whom he saw active service as a platoon commander, Adjutant, Company Commander and Commanding Officer on several tours of Northern Ireland and with the UN in Bosnia.
Premier’s Correspondent Ian Britton has spent some time in conversation with Roddy who shared what this season of Remembrance means to him.
