The Central African Republic was plunged into turmoil in 2013 when Muslim rebels from the Seleka umbrella group seized power in the majority Christian country. The result has been ongoing conflict between warring factions for many years, with its civilian population paying the price.
Since November 2016, fighting between has resulted in large numbers of people being displaced, it's estimated that overall, the conflict has resulted in over 600,000 internally displaced people.At Premier, we’re working with christian charity Tearfund to improve the lives of people living in the Central African Republic.
