Woman to Woman CLAIRE BRINE of The War Cry (Salvation Army publication) chatted to Maria about dealing with disappointments in life.
Premier Christian Radio Your voice of hope!
Archbishop Sentamu said, “Jesus has invited us to proclaim the good news of God’s love and make disciples. I am looking forward to joining each of our 21 deaneries over the next 18 months, from Middlesbrough, Guisborough and Stokesley to Howden, Hull and South Holderness. I hope that, as disciples of Jesus in the Diocese of York, we will invite all we meet to get to know Jesus more deeply. It’s about all of us accepting Jesus’ invitation to life in all its fullness, being encouraged in our journey of faith and being open to the grace of the Holy Spirit.”
The first stop will be Northern Ryedale from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 January 2017.
The mission weekends will build on the ministries already taking place in the Diocese of York and follow on from the Archbishop’s 6-month long Pilgrimage of Prayer, Witness and Blessing across the Diocese which ended in May 2016.
You can watch a video about the mission weekends below.
