Baptist Assembly In Harrogate

For many the annual gathering is as a rare opportunity to take a moment to celebrate and listen to God together.

During the opening celebration the new President Dianne Tidball was inducted and then she unpacked the theme for her presidential year “As in Heaven”.

On Saturday afternoon, during the Beacons of Hope session, General Secretary Lynn Green shared ‘God is on the move in us and through us’.

Planting and pioneering is something ‘we urgently need to invest in and encourage,’ she continued, reminding delegates of the 94 per cent of the population who don’t yet follow Jesus.
