Methodist President visits Tyneside
Last June, for the first time in the history of the Methodist Church, a woman was elected to succeed a woman as President.
Premier Christian Radio Your voice of hope!
Run by the International Association for the Study of Youth Ministry the four day event has an extensive list of speakers exploring a wide variety of subjects.
The Bishop of Durham Paul Butler spoke at the Conference Opening Worship in Durham Cathedral and reflected on how early history speaks into Youth Ministry today. He believes Aidan, Bede, Cuthbert and the Apostle John still speak to us today.
Premier’s Northern Correspondent Ian Britton went along to Durham for the Conference and spoke with one of the speakers, Ruth Perrin from St John’s College, Durham.
Ruth has spent 20 years working with young adults and her research into the faith of Millennials has revealed some interesting findings.
