The service format was first drawn up by Edward Benson when he was Bishop of Truro. The service is now popular all over the world. In the cathedral the congregation are all in their socially distanced seats, the choir’ led by Director of Music Alex Berry, are in their choir stalls, you can hear organist Graham Thorpe playing the pre service voluntaries and waiting to welcome us at the lectern is the Acting Dean of Bradford The Revd Canon Paul Maybury.
