Police issue CCTV image after street pastor knocked out intervening in brawl
Lancashire Constabulary has released a picture of a man they want to speak to after an elderly street pastor was left unconscious after being punched while on duty.

Bishop Christine said: “Geoff is passionate about the North East and about Newcastle, and I am excited to be announcing his appointment as our next Dean. He has played a pivotal role in our Diocese for many years and is deeply committed to serving our communities.

Geoff has been Acting Dean of Newcastle since January.
The Venerable Geoff Miller said: “We are on the cusp of something truly exciting here in Newcastle. There’s enormous energy and excitement as we look to the future of our wonderful Cathedral.
“We strive to be bold in everything we do, and together with our city centre partners, we’re committed to making sure Newcastle has a cathedral to be proud of – one that is diverse, visibly proud of its heritage and welcoming to everyone.”
The Reverend Canon John Sinclair, Residentiary Canon at Newcastle Cathedral, said: “I am absolutely delighted to hear that Geoff is to be the Dean of Newcastle. Geoff’s warm personality and desire to see others flourish is just what we need at this exciting time in the life of Newcastle Cathedral. His vision, energy and passion are highly infectious. The staff are buzzing with excitement about the future with Geoff at the helm. His appointment really is Good News!”
Geoff will be officially installed as Dean later this year.
