Newcastle Cathedral Night Church
And right slap bang in the middle of all this world-famous Geordie nightlife is the cities Anglican Cathedral.
Not wanting to miss out on the party the cathedral has thrown open it’s doors to welcome everyone in to something they are calling Night Church.
It takes place on the last Friday of every month and is open to anyone in the city who wishes to explore, ponder, or pray in this sacred space anytime from 8pm until midnight.
Premier’s Northern Correspondent Ian Britton went along to meet Bishop Christine, Bishop of Newcastle and the team behind night church for Premier Christian Radio.
