Four days of mission events organised by The Church of England in Lancashire has been declared “a great success”.

Riverland Hills Choir On Tour
75 choir members and friends travelled from the US with the aim of “spreading the love of God through song”.
One of the churches they visited was Olney Parish Church where John Newton, author of “Amazing Grace” spent most of his years as a pastor. The choir lead a time of worship with a handful of people from the village, and received a history of Newton’s life and conversion from Elizabeth Knight, trustee from a local museum.
Premier’s Northern Correspondent Ian Britton met up with the choir in the inspirational setting of York Minster.
