Sands is the leading stillbirth and neonatal death charity in the UK and exists to reduce the number of babies dying and to ensure that anyone affected by the death of a baby receives the best possible care and support for as long as they need it.

Genelle Aldred, Ambassador for Sands shared her own experience of losing a baby and the voice she wants to be now for families in the same position.

Sands and Black Mums Upfront would like to sensitively ask Black parents who have lost a baby to fill in the survey, so that Sands and others can learn where the bereavement support went wrong and what support needs to be made available.

Here are places the survey can be found.
