Andy Peck

Andy began The Leadership File when working as a deputy editor with Premier Christianity in 2006 having previously served as a leader within a student movement, and three local churches.

He grew up on the Isle of Wight where he learned to drive a tractor and golf balls, and picked up an irrational attachment to Everton FC, though he finds following the New York Giants in American Football far less stressful. Growing up he was very sure he never wanted to work in London. He is married to Nic, a school teacher, and has two wonderful adopted boys who keep him on his toes. The Leadership Road Less Travelled by Andy Peck

The book is based on what Andy Peck has learned through interviewing hundreds of different Christian leaders and from leading in a range of different settings.

The book suggests that Christian leadership should focus on the way Jesus trained his disciples to lead after he left. Andy believes that the Gospels contain a leadership curriculum, of the way Jesus lived, served and trained his followers to lead. So to lead ‘Christianly’ means living by the power of the Spirit in the way Jesus did.
