Chick Yuill

Chick Yuill lives in Manchester with his wife Margaret to whom he has been married for more than half a century – a fact which he believes makes him an expert at choosing wives since he’s only had to do it once.

He has spent much of his life leading local church and is a compulsive communicator. A speaker and a writer on various aspects of Christian living, in recent years he has begun to write fiction and has published five novels.

His previous broadcasting experience includes regular contributions to Pause for Thought and Good Morning Sunday on Radio Two, and even an unforgettable appearance on the Jeremy Kyle Show. Joining Premier as a presenter represents the fulfilment of a lifelong aspiration.

He loves jazz, good conversation, good coffee and Manchester United. And his great ambitions are to live long enough to get back half the money his kids owe him and to see Scotland win the football World Cup – ambitions which, if realised, will undoubtedly make him Britain’s oldest man.
