John Featherstone is a 7-string guitarist, singer, songwriter, composer, and arranger based in Paris. He specialises in juxtaposing classical and contemporary modes in his performances, which range from solo concerts to a major cross-over work for two choirs and contemporary chamber group. His choral repertoire includes a trilogy of cantatas on the birth, life and passion of Christ, CREDO, based on the text of the Creed, and PASSAGE, a musical dialogue between faith and scepticism.

He chats to Loretta about his latest work which is a classical-jazz-gospel piece based on the Latin based Te Deum, as well as sharing what life is like as a Christian in Paris.
