Situated on the North Essex coast is a little village, once the bustling hive of activity for holiday makers, it’s now run down and the residents in need of desperate help. Jaywick is officially the UK’s most deprived place, but there is hope for it.

Joe Murray, who’s lived nearby since the 1970’s, is one of the volunteers for The St Vincent de Paul Society, an International Christian charity that sets out to help those in poverty. He tell us about some of the amazing things that he has seen while working with them.
