Premier Christian Radio Your voice of hope!
No doubt, on a visit to one of the UK’s many prestigious cathedrals and grand churches, you will have seen works by Edward Burne-Jones – perhaps without even realizing it. His stained glass masterpieces are still enjoyed by and are inspiring people today in Birmingham Cathedral, St-Martins-on-the Hill in Scarborough and Christ Church Oxford to name a few.
Tate Britain have collected the most important works by Edward Burne-Jones from around the world to display for the first time in 40 years, with some pieces – including the Briar Rose and Perseus series – available for public viewing for the very first time.
Premier’s Deanna Fletcher has been to see the exhibit and spoke with the exhibitions chief curator at Tate Britain.
