Did you know that 1 in 5 mothers in the UK regularly goes without food to feed their kids? More and more of mums are turning to foodbanks to make ends meet. The Trussell Trust – a Christian based charity is launching almost 2 new foodbanks every week to cope with demand. DAPHINE AIKENS operates a foodbank in Hammersmith & Fulham and told Maria the grim reality that’s facing many families in the UK.
