Parliament: our end of term report
The Queen dissolved Parliament on Monday. Contrary to ill-informed comment the 2014-15 session has been a busy one. 195 Bills were proposed and debated and 35 of them are now Acts of Parliament. Many of the Bills that failed to reach the Statute Book were Private Members Bills that either faced strong opposition or simply ran out of time.
