I Caiaphas

There was no position more influential in 1st century Jewish society than that of the High Priest. He had to preserve the faith and fight for his people’s survival against the Romans. Caiaphas, high priest, was prepared to sacrifice one man to save his people as he saw it. But on this occasion, the man was the son of God.
