Big Breakfast

This Saturday on Big Breakfast we’re talking to BERNIE GARDNER – about Africa United. The football fairytale follows the adventures of a group of Rwandan children who embark on epic 3,000 mile journey – with the dream of taking part in the opening ceremony of the World Cup in Johannesburg. The plot raises awareness of many issues in Africa – such as crime, poverty, war, child sexual slavery and Aids. Also in the studio we’ll be speaking to GEORGE and CAROLYN SNYMAN who run an Aids charity in Africa called Hands at Work, which helps Aids Orphans. We’ll also be speaking to ELIOTT FRISBY -he’ll be talking about his involvement in a classical tribute concert by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall on Oct 28th. And finally we cut across to comedian ANDY KIND about the Gathering at Methodist Central Hall (on Sun 31st).
