Premier Christian Radio Your voice of hope!
Comedienne Joy Carter was abandoned in Nigeria as a baby during the Biafran War and subsequently adopted by a loving white couple who brought her to England. Due to the trauma she went through and an identity crisis, Joy didn’t speak until the age of 5 and even tried to take her own life at one stage. However, in her own word’s, “love conquers all”! She talks to Lisa Mainwaring about the positive side of adoption and reminds us all about the promise that we have in Christ.
