Travellers Tales
An Anglican priest, writer and broadcaster, Jo Jepson made headlines as a curate when she took on a landmark legal case over the issue of cleft palate abortions, catapulting her into the media spotlight in a way that, frankly, no-one could ever be ready for. But she felt she was the person to do it, with a unique perspective, having being born with a serious jaw abnormality and, after fairly grim teenage years, having major surgery (the same that someone would have for cleft palate) to correct it.
She talks about her face…..and her faith….and the desperate need she felt, in the midst of it all, to disentangle the ‘good Christian girl’ messages, jargon, and ‘right’ answers she’d been given as a child, and find God for herself as an adult.
She’s very open about it all, and great to spend time with…and you can do that too on Travellers Tales.
