Premier Christian Radio Your voice of hope!
Ijeoma is also an Anglican priest ministering in London, and a community activist working on HIV awareness and prevention through the organisation Positive Faith, so it was good, too, to hear from her about the particular challenges people face in being a Christian and HIV Positive, and how hard it can be to talk about that health status in faith communities.
And, as is so often the case with Travellers Tales, I find my eyes opened to the deep sense of home, belonging, and injustice, that comes from a history so different to mine – in this case, as Ijeoma talked about her late father’s passionate belief in the dream of Biafra, and the way that has shaped her own activism.
