Travellers Tales
She’s the co-founder and CEO of Be Me Project, a charity to support girls and women in celebrating that they are uniquely and wonderfully made, by delivering mental wellbeing sessions, and giving them time and space to talk, in schools and communities.
And Lu’s own story is fairly dramatic – a year after their marriage, her husband Rich was diagnosed with a serious heart condition and fitted with an internal defibrillator…then collapsed a few years later, when their son was just 6 months old, and had to spend 16 months in hospital waiting for a transplant.
Her story of how God was with them then in all kinds of extraordinary ways, and has walked with them since, eventually inspiring her to set up Be Me, is one you won’t want to miss.
