Faith Hope and Love with Chick Yuill

Paul Keeble and Dr Robert Beckford talk to Chick Yuill about the documentary film AFTER THE FLOOD which will be premiered in London on 25th May 2022. The film tells how the 18th century Church became embroiled in the slave trade and encourages us to face the truth and deal with the ongoing legacy of slavery.

Paul has lived in a multi-cultural neighbourhood in inner-city Manchester since 1980, and has been an activist in urban mission and ministry both locally and nationally. He is a founding trustee of ‘The Movement for Justice and Reconciliation’, set up in 2015 to address the legacies of colonial slavery and industrial oppression.

Robert is an academic theologian and filmmaker.  Currently the professor of climate and social justice at the University of Winchester, Robert has made over twenty documentary films for the BBC, Channel for and Discovery USA.

Chick started by asking Paul to explain about the work of The Movement for Justice and Reconciliation.
