Faith Hope and Love with Chick Yuill

‘Getting your hands dirty but keeping your heart clean’ are the words our guest used to describe the vital ministry of the Salvation Army.
Robert Street was one of The Salvation Army’s international leaders prior to his retirement in 2013 and was involved in the work of The Salvation Army in some 50 countries. He is a gifted and creative writer and for a number of years edited The War Cry, reputed to be the most widely read Christian weekly in Britain. He talks to Chick Yuill about his life and ministry and about the sense of privilege he feels in looking after his wife Janet who suffers from dementia.
However, he started by recalling his early memories of his time in the Salvation Army.
