Ian Davis is a Salvation Army officer and, with his wife Louise, has led the Salvation Army Church at Hedge End, near Southampton. In October 2020 he caught coronavirus and has subsequently suffered the debilitating effects of long-covid. He talks to Chick Yuill about his slow recovery, the challenge of rebuilding a congregation after lock-down, and the opportunities that might arise our of this difficult time.
