Faith Hope and Love with Chick Yuill

Dr Ian Donald retired recently from his role as a consultant in Geriatric Medicine in Gloucester.  He has pioneered hospital-at-home services, linking healthcare with care homes and community teams. One of his concerns has been that many older people are taking too many medications, potentially causing more harm than good. This led to the development of his own prescribing guidelines for those living with frailty.  He talks to Chick Yuill about the blessings and challenges of modern medicine, of the importance of an active Christian faith, and of helping people to get the most out of the final years of life. He started off by asking about his background in this area.
