Alan Saunders is the vicar of Christchurch Pennington in Greater Manchester.  He speaks to Chick Yuill about the difficult decision to close his church service a week before the official start of lockdown in March 2020, of the challenges to his mental health of ministering through lockdown, and how he has emerged from that time stronger and wiser.

He started off by telling Chick why he shut down church before lockdown had even started.
