Earlier this year it was reported that there’s been a 93 percent rise in the number of under-16s stabbed in the past five years. As knife crime reaches record levels, the question on everyone’s mind is: what is the solution?
Lennox Rodgers is not unfamiliar with youth violence and crime, having spent 21 years in and out of prison. He’s written about his experiences in his new book, ‘Breaking Better’.
He’s also been running a crime prevention and intervention charity for at risk young people with his wife Bali for the past 14 years.
Between them Lennox and Bali have extensive experience in youth work, mentoring, life coaching and family support. They joined John Pantry and Craig Wakeling on Inspirational Breakfast this morning to discuss more.
