Bishop Rachel Treweek spends Easter in a women’s prison

How do you think you’d fare in jail? We often think of all places of incarceration as intimidating and dangerous – whereas in reality, there are many different types of prison.
As of yesterday, the Bishop of Gloucester the Right Reverend Rachel Treweek is spending three days in the lead up to Easter weekend at Eastwood Park Women’s prison, to learn more about the realities of life as a female prisoner.
She tells us about her experience so far.
