Inspirational Breakfast with Esther Higham

Ever since her days as a BBC Presenter with Blue Peter, Songs of Praise and Radio 2’s The Sunday Hour, the work of Diane Louise Jordan has gone from strength to strength. A former trustee of the Princes Trust, her charity work is immense and she is very much a hands-on supporter – all of which are linked to family and children. Her latest project is much the same. Making of Black Britain founded by Diane, is the third largest collection in the UK of shared stories by individuals from varying generations, exploring Black British history and their present-day experiences. The archive is available on Google Arts and Culture. She tells Mal Pope how Isaiah 61 inspired her to set up the archive and describes why these stories are a vehicle for healing.
