Inspirational Breakfast with Esther Higham

Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities in the world – but for sadly for some of its inhabitants this beauty is far from their everyday lives. Ghettos are everywhere, and for those living in Manenberg – a township in Cape Town, life is just as marginal today as it was during apartheid. A new book tells the story of one individual’s move from London to Manenberg, the true story of addicts and gangsters meeting Jesus and being transformed. PETE PORTAL is part of the core leadership team of Tree of Life Church in Manenberg – and the author of the new book called ‘No Neutral Ground’.
Esther Higham started by asking PETE what a nice young man like himself was doing in the worst part of Cape Town…
