The good news is that we Britons are living longer. Average life expectancy has doubled since 1841 and is now 79.2 for men and 82 for women.
Premier Christian Radio Your voice of hope!
With today being the 70th anniversary since the inception of the NHS, we’re joined by Christians working in the NHS, who tell us about the realities of working front line at the NHS. Martin Lupton is a professor training up the next generation of doctors and nurses; Ella Kim is a junior doctor on the doctors committee for the Christian Medical Fellowship and Steve Fouch is also a member of the Christian Medical Fellowship. John Pantry and Rosie Wright were joined on the phones to explain their own personal experiences about working in the NHS. Click the play button above to hear a snippet from each of their interviews!
