Inspirational Breakfast with Esther Higham

Boris Johnson’s reportedly planning to end the row over providing free school meals to England’s poorest children, by offering extra support over Christmas, but the policy won’t match the rest of the UK, where the scheme’s available until Easter.

Meanwhile local councils across the nation have stepped up for provide free food vouchers, and thousands of local business have offered free meals for children in their communities.

Rev Steve Chalke is the founder of Oasis – the social action charity which runs food banks, youth groups, homeless projects and over 50 schools – spoke to Premier’s Esther Higham.
