Convicted of attempted murder at 17, Tony Gielty was sentenced to ten years in prison.

At age 19, by his own admission he was a vicious thug, terrorising prisoners and staff at every prison he was sent to.

The Scottish penal system was about to issue its punishment of last resort – continuous solitary confinement.

However, an incredible transformation took place in Anthony after he met with a priest. He is now out of prison and a devout Christian who has worked as a prison mentor – encouraging others to leave their criminal past behind them.
