Premier Christian Radio Your voice of hope!
As part of this year’s Holocaust Memorial Day commemorations, St Nicholas Cathedral in Newcastle is hosting an exhibition devoted to the life of Anne Frank.
Her famous diary documented her life spent in hiding during the German occupation of the Netherlands, and is one of the most widely read books in the world.
The exhibition tells Anne Frank’s story, set against the backdrop of the Holocaust and the Second World War. The idea is to challenge visitors to think about the concepts of tolerance, mutual respect, human rights and democracy.
Premier’s Northern Correspondent Ian Britton met Grace Dunne from the Anne Frank Trust at the exhibition.
